I have changed my name. How do I update my profile?

If you have made a legal change to your name you will need to submit a request to us, in writing, to update your CIMSPA membership profile.

 

This request will need to include evidence of the name change, including evidence such as:
  • Marriage or civil partnership certificate
  • Deed poll
  • Statutory declaration
  • Affidavit
  • Final order (decree absolute) along with a birth or marriage certificate which shows Your maiden name if You have reverted to this following a divorce
  • Passport
  • Driving license
  • Utility bill or bank statement – this must be from within the last 12 months and the address shown must match the address We hold for You on Our records

 

Good-quality scanned copies or photographs of the original will be accepted. Once we are satisfied with the evidence, we will update your records.

 

Important: For those in the process of applying – if you have changed your name since you completed your qualifications we will need evidence on file of any legal name changes so we can fully assess your application.
